TrustAZUR announces its Asset Manager solution for Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)
The solution will be demonstrated on the Cypress PSoC® 6 MCU platform at Embedded World 2018,
in Nuremberg, from February 27th to March 1st 2018
Sophia-Antipolis, France, February 22nd, 2018 – TrustAZUR®, a provider of consulting, systems integration and software development services and products in the security domain for IoT and Mobile markets, today announced its TAZAM Asset Manager solution that offers provisioning, secure storage and management of assets such as keys, certificates, credentials, identities, etc. to enable end-to-end security between IoT devices and remote services in the Cloud.
Although analysts forecast tens of billions of IoT devices will be deployed around the world, security concerns and privacy risks are among the top 3 barriers to buying an IoT device. The Asset Manager protects the provisioning and storage of assets into the device, as well as the use of these assets by Trusted Applications to securely connect, authenticate and use remote services running in the Cloud. All data exchanged between devices, and the services in the Cloud, is therefore fully protected either in transit, at rest, or in use by the Trusted Application running inside the TEE.
The solution will be demonstrated on PSoC® 6 microcontrollers (MCUs) from Cypress Semiconductor Corp. PSoC 6 MCUs achieve the highest level of protection defined by the Platform Security Architecture (PSA) from Arm® through the use of configurable memory and peripheral protection units. The Asset Manager solution will be demonstrated at Embedded World 2018, in Nuremberg, from February 27th to March 1st 2018, running in the PSoC 6 Secure MCU hardware-based TEE with secure boot capability and integrated secure data storage. The demonstration will show (1) how a device securely exchanges maintenance data with its original manufacturer, and (2) the ordering and replenishment of goods and/or consumables by the device, after it has securely enrolled with a remote service provider.
